About Mrs.Koken

After my time in MSE Network as ESL Coordinator, I've decided to return to where I have begun and my heart never felt : MSE Mendenhall.

 

I will be serving as one of the Dean of Academics at this campus where I taught for 3 years. I am pumped to get right back in school and in through this role, support educators, and serve students and parents!

 

I was born and raised in Turkey as the second child of four siblings who are all teachers at the moment.  I have a degree in Foreign Language Education from Middle East Technical University and a Master's degree in English Language Teaching from Presidency University. I am also certified in English Language Teaching to Adults by Cambridge University.  I I have been in education for 14 years and worked as an English Teacher, Head of English Language Department (ESL), and Middle School Assistant Principal, ESL Coordinator in different parts of the world.
